I have got to take a more serious approach to blogging. I read other blogs and think to myself "Self, they have so much to talk about. You. Not so much." But my life is really no different than anyone else. The difference is, they are appreciating their lives and I am not. Financially, times are tough in our house. But everyone is feeling the money pinch. I worry about money everyday. But while I know I need to worry about it, I also have to remember that there is still a lot to be thankful for. My kids. My husband. My family. And unlike many Americans, I do have a job. Not a great one, but a good one.
So here is a shout out to all of you who blog about the ups and downs of your lives and who are able to bring it alive to all of us lurkers out there. I want to be just like you when I grow up. Now I am going to go have some ice cream.
